The Amstrad Emailer. White dog poo. Vanilla Ice’s recording career. All famous for sinking without a trace. Thankfully, Finavera Renewables wave energy test buoy is not set to join them.
The $2 million test buoy was part of the company’s experiments into harnessing wave power for renewable energy and sunk this week off the coast of Oregon.
Finavera says it will be sending down a salvage crew, whether and scheduling permitting.
