Neologisms we like

With green tech developing faster than a greased eel down a drainpipe, the English language is doing its best to evolve in tandem.

A nice neologism that seems to be appearing with more frequency: Greenwash, which urbandictionary.com defines as: Political term, meaning a whitewash except over something ecological.

You can see it in action here:

“Political lines were drawn as the El Paso City Council debated Rep. Alexandro Lozano’s assertion that the city ought to participate in a recycling and environmental event sponsored by Asarco. The event is questioned as “greenwashing,” and few others are on board.”
