You know your solar panels, don’t you? You look like the type. I bet you could tell your thin film from your crystalline silicon with your eyes closed and your hands behind your back.
Good news for those in the thin film camp. Solar panel maker First Solar has upped its contracted kilowattage, and reckons it could bring in $1 billion of new sales between 2008 and 2010.
There’s even a new manufacturing plant to cope with more and more people getting the hots for solar.
Forbes has the skinny here.

They already shielded the parliament buildings from EM interference (what causes things like ‘sick building syndrome’) apparently – so they’re way ahead in terms of acknowledging such things exist.
Pity the mass-media is so far behind in publicising information on such problems – only obscure and specialist publications seem to be informed.
Try getting them to acknowledge that mobile phone signals fry the brain though…don’t get me wrong, I smoke natural untreated tobacco – but mobiles devices are the cigarette lawsuits of the future.
